The GPS Don Quijotetour is one of our most favourite round tours in our program. Trough Andujar you will leave Andalusia and enter the region Castilla la mancha where the windmills of Don Quixote standing.

After visiting the Don Quixote region the tour we lead you to the eastern edge of the Cazorla Natural Park in Andalucia and bring you to an other Natural Park the Sierra Maria.

After visiting the coast of the Costa la Luz the tour goes again into the mountains. Today the famous Sierra Nevada and his Alpujarra in the afternoon you will arrive in our base hotel in Alhaurin el Grande.

Edith and Math 2011

Day 1: Arrival Málaga

	Welcome at the airport and transfer to your base hotel in Alhaurin el Grande.

Day 2: Sierra Morena

	Sierra Morena is a beautiful mountian region that starts in andalusia city Andujar. After a night in a hospitable bed and breakfast in this nature, the route leads you through la Virgen de la Cabeza further north to Castilla la Mancha.

Day 3: Molinas Don Quijote

	Don Quixote is a country gentleman, who by reading chivalric romances under the delusion that he touched the injustice in the world to eradicate. He pulls out his steed Rosin Ante and his squire Sancho Panza out and experience many imaginary adventures (including the fight against the windmill wings).

Day 4: Velez Blanco

	The appearance of Velez Blanco is determined by a huge Spanish fort that was built around 1506 on the hill of Velez Blanco. From your hotel Velad Al Abuadh you have a stunning view of the Natural Park of Sierra Maria.

Day 5: Desierto Tabernas

	The desert of Tabernas lies in the southeast of Spain, just north of Almeria. The area may call the only desert in Europe. There is therefore only about 240 mm of rain per year. This is because two mountain ranges that surround the area the precipitation stopped. After the desert you will arrive in the afternoon in Rábita where you will sleep direct on the coast in a nice family hotel.

Day 6: Sierra Almijara

Panoramic view, lush green trees, bright red rocks, blue sky. The reservoir Beninar is nice, but the valley that follows is really spectacular.

The Sierra de Tejeda y Almijara is part of an elongated belt of high mountain ranges that run parallel to the Mediterranean. In the evening you return to the basic hotel.

Day 7: Departure Málaga

	After check out at your hotel you will be transferred to the airport.
